RATHWELL, MB, March 11, 2020 — Corteva Agriscience is pleased to announce that as part of its community investment program, $5,000 has been donated to the Rathwell Volunteer Fire Department to purchase new protective fire gear for the department’s volunteers.
“We are happy to support the Rathwell Volunteer Fire Department with this $5,000 donation to purchase new protective equipment to keep volunteer firefighters safe,” said John McCulluch, territory Manager with Corteva Agriscience. “The department provides essential fire protection and emergency services for local residents.”
“This grant will help ensure our volunteers on the frontline are safe when entering structure fires,” explained Bill Nostedt, fire chief, Rathwell Volunteer Fire Department. “We thank Corteva for this generous donation as our annual budget can’t always cover the equipment we need.”
